Spring is upon us here in North Dallas. The air is crisp, leaves are unfurling, and flowers are beginning to bud. As we are ushering in a new season — one of renewal, of growth, and of change — in the world outside, we exuberantly announce a monumental step in the growth of our own company.
Parks Coffee has officially broken ground on a new roasting facility, to be located beside our main headquarters in Carrollton, Texas. The new 50,000-square-foot, three story building located at 1401 MacArthur Drive, will boast open space for packaging, three coffee roasters – including a new, custom-built industrial roaster – plus tasting, training, office, social and retail spaces.
In 2009, we expanded our headquarters to include a 35,000sf office/warehouse space. The Dallas campus also includes our corporate office, current roasting and repair/service building, Guardian Water Systems facility, and Parks Pantry warehouse facility.
sma+architects designed the building. Raymond Construction is serving as construction manager on the project. Construction of the facility is expected to be completed later this year.
